Established in 2014, The Beauty Parlor has become a staple in the Rivertowns of Westchester County, NY. Just a 30-minute train ride from NYC, a visit to The Beauty Parlor is like a mini vacation—as our guests often tell us. Our salon and spa is located inside the historic Hudson River Landing building that overlooks the Hudson River, which provides an inviting and relaxing atmosphere for all of your beauty needs. 

After working in NYC for a decade, the founders (Jessica, Josephine, and Matt) came together and made the switch to the ’burbs, opening a creative space that inspires our staff and our guests. From floor to ceiling, each element of the salon was specially considered to provide an exceptional experience. Our minimalistic design is intentional, never taking away from the artistry of our stylists. Our guests are our works of art and should always be front and center. The salon is surrounded by old factory windows with plenty of natural light to ensure you never leave the salon uneasy about what your hair color looks like (we all know the struggle of bad lighting!).

We strive to provide you with service that is tailored to your own unique, personal style rather than solely succumbing to the latest fads. Your hair and skin routine should fit your lifestyle, and we are here to guide you through every step of that journey. 

The beauty industry is constantly changing. Matt, Jessica, and Josephine go above and beyond to ensure all of our artists have the proper education they need to succeed. They are constantly working on mastering their craft and to be up-to-date with the latest trends, haircare, and skincare products. We host several classes for our staff each year that concentrate on business development and hair/skin-related areas. We are proud to say we run an apprenticeship program for our stylists’ assistants to get them ready for the next stage of their career.
